Accommodation Manager

Leading the operations in the Front Office, Individual Reservations and Housekeeping, by ensuring guest satisfaction and departmental profitability accordingly to The Hotel’s policy and procedures.

• The Accommodation Manager will be reporting directly to the Hotel Director;
• Set up short and midterm planning for Front office and housekeeping departments;
• Hire new Front office and Housekeeping staff;
• Maintain effective communication between departments (F.O and Housekeeping);
• Handles guest comments, complaints and take appropriate action;
• Answer positive and neutral complaints on Reviewpro;
• Maintain and propose improvements to internal policies and procedures;
• Maintain regular contact with the external Outsourcing Company (Housekeeping);
• Make sure the Front Office Agents produce positive financial reports;
• Weekend duty management;
• Make sure Front office Agents and Housekeeping staff works accordingly to policy and procedures;
• Make sure the Front Office is neat and accordingly to standard;
• Supervise individual reservations and keep daily contact with revenue manager;
• Maximize turnover and optimize costs within the departments.

What the company can expect from you:

• At least 2 years experience at the Front Office Management;
• University Degree;
• Excellent verbal and written English and Dutch skills, other languages are valuable;
• IT Skills in Excel, Word, Power Point (office), PMS: Opera;
• Availability to travel.
