Front Office Coördinator

The Front Desk is the first and last contact between the hotel and the customers. It is also the core of the customer care during their stay. Therefore the Front Office Coordinator should ensure the correct operation of the front desk department. He/She must train the front desk team and should implement the standards of quality and services defined by the Central Offices as well as organize and manage periodic meetings with his/her team.
As its name indicates, he/she will be fully responsible for the experience of our customers during their stay at the hotel. From this position the Front Office Coordinator has to coordinate the interaction between all the Hotel departments' and also he/she has to assure that the customers receive all the services they required, so from this vacancy the Front Office Coordinator is directly responsible for their satisfaction.

• Implement the standards of quality and service at the Front Desk Department;
• Sales' channels control to ensure the "best available rate";
• Maximize the yield with the Revenue Manager ;
• Lead and train the front desk team;
• Work altogether with other departments;
• Prepare budgets' Department;
• Stocks control;
• Purchase request;
• Participation in the morning briefing meetings and Direction meetings;
• Meetings with the front desk team;
• Assessment of the level of satisfaction among the customers;
• Recruit and develop new staff;
• Complaints management.

What the company can expect from you:

• Tourism Diploma;
• At least 3 years experience in Front Office, Hospitality or Tourism;
• Excellent verbal and written English and Dutch skills, other languages are valuable;
• IT Skills in Excel, Word, Power Point (office);
